A legend in CAPiTA history, the Stairmaster debuted as a tough and affordable option for freestyle snowboarders holding a more skate-style mentality to product. With a purist approach, they wanted a simple yet proven construction with no unnecessary additives—and they wanted to buy it at a price that made sense knowing it will be ridden hard. The graphic direction was led by Corey Smith, and before long, the Stairmaster became a rider favorite. In fact, it was one of our most widely ridden boards for years.
The Stairmaster is back. This time under the Spring Break Snowboards umbrella, once again aesthetically curated and under the creative direction of Dr. Smith.

These bases take the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in creating extruded base material, but due to higher pressure and temperature, increase the surface hardness to levels near most sintered bases. This expands the durability and surface strength, creating a base that will be more durable when jibbing and ripping around the mountain while retaining a low maintenance and carefree lifespan of the board. SUPERDRIVE™ is the benchmark for sintruded material while SUPERDRIVE™ ADV yields higher durability and glide performance.
