Animal was a legend in the late 80’s and early 90’s Manchester skate scene, he skated as fast as possible throwing himself up the walls of Manchester Crown court, to watch him skate was truly something to behold. 
One day A fourteen year old me nervously asked how he did those wallrides and his words ring out in my memory as I’m typing this, clear as day, even though it was 30 years ago. 
“it’s really easy man, you just ride up at 45 degrees, and turn 90 and manual down”

Moments after that I’d just ridden away from my first wallride. Thanks Jay. 

This board is for someone who loves skateboarding and was an inspiration, a teacher, a mentor and a friend all at the same time.
